IBM is expected to cut up 10,000 jobs across Europe, including 2,000 in the UK and Ireland, in a bid to lower costs at its services unit ahead of a sale. The redundancies will affect 1 in 5 employees in the region, according to sources speaking to Bloomberg, with the UK and Germany to bear the brunt of the job losses.
